If you live in Dutchess County and are having problems
with a child that refuses to behave and is incorrigible,
you may want to consider contacting the PINS intake unit
of the D.C. Probation Department. They will advise you
of the best course of action for your situation. In some
cases the court system may declare a minor incorrigible
if a petition is filed. Petitions are usually filed as a
last resort in runaway or excessive defiance situations.
